Life: Meet Max

On the off chance you haven't seen all my Instagrams,Tweets and Snapchats (fattybiscuit), or read this blog post, you may not know that at the end of April I (well, my parents) got a little puppy.

And since he is the cutest thing ever and I'm completely obsessed with him, I've decided to dedicate a whole blog post to his gorgeous little face.

I mean, look at him.

His name is Max (short for Maximus - the horse from Tangled) and he is a Golden Retriever.

He was born on the 8th March and was the last and biggest of his litter.

Wherever we go everyone tells us 'he is going to be a big one' and I find myself often having to defend him saying he's not fat, he's just fluffy.

'Cause omg he is so fluffy I might die.

Now, a little back story. When my parents told me they were getting a dog I burst into tears and begged them not to.

You see, I'm actually quite scared of dogs.

Like, cross the road, have a mild panic attack when they come near me scared of dogs.

In general I'm not really an animal person except for when they're in the distance or on screens. When they come near me I get a little panicky.

So yeah, I spent a fair few months trying to dissuade them and talk them out of getting one.

Spoiler alert - I'm so glad they didn't listen to me.

Ever since my parents went to meet him and decide if he was for us I fell in love. So much so that I begged them to take me to the breeders so I could meet him before they brought him home.

It was truly love at first sight.

Since he's been home I've only had a small handful of frightened moments and that usually occurs when he barks and pounces at me (it's completely playful, but ya know, baby steps.)

I can't really be all that informative on how he's being brought up and stuff as he's really my parents dog,I just get to do all the fun stuff like play and cuddle (with the occasional poop pick up), so really this post is a bit of nothing.

But if you like cute dog pictures then please, do enjoy.

And if you do have any burning questions about him, just let me know and I'll try to answer them for you!
